Hsinchu, November 27, 2025 — The results of the 2025 Taiwan Corporate Sustainability Awards (TCSA) have been announced. A total of 743 companies and organizations took part in this year's TCSA, bringing the total number of organizations that have participated in the TCSA over the years to over a thousand. WNC was honored with the Top 100 Exemplary Companies in Sustainability Award in the Overall Sustainability Performance Awards category for the second year in a row, and also received the Platinum Medal in the Corporate Sustainability Report Awards category for the third straight year. These awards highlight WNC's achievements in climate governance and affirm the company's commitment to enhancing trust and communication with global stakeholders and exerting a positive influence in the world through transparent and reliable information disclosure.

Drawing on the philosophy of creating sustainable value to build future resilience, WNC has integrated ESG indicators into its decision-making processes and is an active participant in global environmental initiatives. The company is a member of both the RBA and the TNFD Forum, and its net-zero targets have been validated by the SBTi, demonstrating its commitment to climate action. The Board of Directors serves as the highest governance unit for sustainability in WNC, and the board has incorporated sustainability performance indicators into the remuneration assessment of senior managers to emphasize accountability and execution. WNC publishes a bilingual sustainability report annually, and this year it published its first TCFD & TNFD report, verified by a third party. The company has established robust communication channels through shareholders' meetings, online investor conferences, and stakeholder contact windows, providing high-quality information disclosure that meets the expectations of the global market and society.

In the environmental aspect of ESG, WNC has formulated a Water Resource Management Policy. The company has also analyzed water risk at 1,755 sites worldwide (1,739 supplier sites, 16 WNC sites), monitors its own water usage and effectiveness of its water recycling measures, and utilizes internal and external audits to enhance the effectiveness of water resource management measures. In 2024, WNC achieved a 30.43% water recycling rate, and its water withdrawal intensity decreased by 31.86% compared to 2020 — surpassing its reduction target by 12.5%. WNC has accelerated its adoption of renewable energy by installing additional solar panels at its sites. The company also obtained bronze level Taiwan Green Building Label certification for its S3 site, and its Vietnam site received LEED® Gold Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council.

In the social aspect, WNC has built a safe, inclusive, and diverse workplace. The company has conducted surveys on employee satisfaction since 2021, and in 2024 86% of employees said that they felt safe working at WNC. The company promotes a green dining culture in its employee cafeterias. Last year, it purchased 224,503 kilograms of organic vegetables, which reduced the company's carbon emissions by around 224,503 kilograms CO₂e compared to purchasing the same amount of vegetables grown using non-organic methods. WNC is also committed to supporting local farmers, rural education, and reforestation. The company has planted one hectare of trees in the Xitou Nature Education Area, and these trees have a measured carbon sequestration of 231 kilograms. WNC is also nurturing and maintaining the WNC Forest Park, a 1.4-hectare forest by the bank of the Zhuoshui River. The WNC Forest Park has improved dust and haze issues in the area, and WNC has established monitoring mechanisms and a biodiversity database to help safeguard biodiversity in the park.

WNC's Chief Sustainability Officer & Spokesperson Molly Lin said, “We want to become a model company for our industry when it comes to leading partners in fulfilling environmental and social responsibilities while driving sustainable growth.” WNC will keep on strengthening its competitiveness to maintain its position as a trusted communications solutions provider, creating long-term value for the environment and society.
